Butterfly Pea tea
Our Butterfly Pea flowers are grown in the Moreton Bay region, Queensland. Our plants are grown organically and no chemicals are used. Our flowers are hand pick and prepared by hand before drying. The dried flowers have very little weight therefore they are not sold by weight. Only 6 dried petals per standard drink (250mls) are required to make a beautiful blue tea. We have grown this beautiful flower for 2 years and we have used it to colour rice, cakes, vermicelli, pasta, savoury cheese balls, cocktails, mocktails, vodka, gin and lots more.
Butterfly Pea is pH sensitive, add lemon or lime for taste and watch it turn to purple. We've even managed to turn to bright green. Its fun, healthy and natural. No calories, no fat, no sugar....
