Butterfly Pea Test Tube
Butterfly Pea has been used for centuries in South East Asia to make tea. Its also used as a natural ingredient to colour rice, sweets, drinks etc a beautiful blue colour naturally. Use 4-5 Butterfly Pea flowers in hot water and steep for a few minutes and you have blue tea. Leave to steep longer for a darker blue colour. Add lemon or lime to the blue tea and you'll see it change to purple right before your eyes. In South East Asia they add Lemon or Lime and Honey for flavour.
