Cleaning Kitchen Exhaust Units/Filters
Dissolving Grease & Grime the Eco Friendly Way
The easiest way to
degrease kitchen exhaust filters.
All you need is; Green
Potions No.11, hot water, sink/tub/container.
Remember to turn the kitchen
exhaust unit off before removing the filters. We are using a container
for this task to partially clean the filter so we can show you the
difference. If the filters won't lay flat in the sink use the laundry or
bath tub or a container large enough to lay them flat. This saves time,
water and product. |
|

Place 100grms of Green Potion
No.11 in the sink/tub/container. |
|

Add hot water (boiling water
works faster). Stir if necessary to dissolve the Potion. Once the Potion
has dissolved place the exhaust filters in the Potion.
You only need enough water to
cover the filters entirely.
Leave them to soak for 5 minutes
(10 minutes if necessary). Do not soak them for hours or overnight. |
|

You
will begin to see the grease and grime dissolve immediately. The Potion
will become discoloured and the grease and grime will float on the top.
After 5 minutes (10 if
necessary) they should be sparkling clean. Remove the exhaust filters,
rinse with warm soapy water and drain.
Who would believe these dirty
greasy kitchen exhaust filters could be cleaned with very little effort?
The hardest part about this
cleaning task is handling boiling hot water. Please, be careful when
handling boiling hot water.
